The Directed App collects location data to provide core App functionality, including route management, task verification, installation validation, pickup validation, sign transfer validation, sign recovery workflows, and operational reporting.

Location tracking may operate while the App is in use and, where enabled and permitted by your device settings, may operate in the background to support App functionality.

You can enable or disable location tracking through your device settings. Disabling location tracking may limit or prevent certain App features from working properly.

Task, Route, and Operational Data

The App may collect information related to your use of the App, including:

  • Assigned routes and tasks
  • Task status updates
  • Installation and pickup activity
  • Sign recovery and sign transfer activity
  • Inventory activity
  • Timestamps

Notification Permissions

The Directed App may request permission to send push notifications related to tasks, routes, assignments, workflow updates, administrative alerts, sign recovery, sign transfers, and other operational activity.

You can control push notification preferences through your device settings.

SMS/Text Messaging Information

If you provide a mobile phone number during onboarding, account setup, employment, contractor registration, or internal system setup, we may use that number to send internal operational SMS/text messages related to the Directed App and Artisan Direct operations.

SMS/text message information may include your mobile phone number, message delivery status, opt-in status, opt-out status, and related messaging records.

Mobile opt-in information and consent will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

Usage and Device Data

We may collect technical and usage information, including:

  • Device type
  • Operating system

  • App usage statistics

  • IP address, anonymized where possible
  • Diagnostic and performance data

2. How We Use Your Information

3. SMS/Text Message Communications

The Directed App may send SMS/text messages to employees, contractors, administrators, and other authorized internal users for internal operational purposes.

These messages may include task notifications, workflow updates, route updates, sign recovery notifications, sign transfer notifications, administrative alerts, and other internal business communications related to the Directed App and Artisan Direct operations.

SMS messages are intended for internal operational use only and are not sent to customers or the general public as part of this program.

Message frequency varies based on user role, assigned work activity, and system notifications. Message and data rates may apply.

By providing a mobile phone number during onboarding, account setup, employment, contractor registration, or internal system setup, users consent to receive SMS/text messages related to internal operational use of the Directed App.

Users may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. After replying STOP, the user may no longer receive SMS notifications related to internal task and workflow updates. Users may reply HELP for help or contact Artisan Direct at sales@artisandirect.us or +1 704-662-2417.

Mobile opt-in information and consent will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

All categories of information described in this Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information only as reasonably necessary for business, operational, legal, or security purposes, including with:

  • Service providers that support the App, such as cloud hosting, messaging, analytics, diagnostics, security, and infrastructure providers
  • Authorized Artisan Direct personnel, administrators, managers, or approved users who need access for operational purposes
  • Clients or business partners, where necessary to verify service performance, task completion, or operational reporting
  • Law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other parties when legally required
  • Other parties with your explicit consent

Service providers are permitted to use information only as needed to provide services to us and are expected to protect information appropriately.

Mobile opt-in information and SMS consent will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

Some information may be necessary for core App functionality. If you disable certain permissions or request deletion of required information, some App features may not work properly, and your ability to use the App may be limited.

The Directed App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us, and we will take appropriate action.

9. Third-Party Services

The App may rely on third-party service providers for functions such as hosting, analytics, messaging, maps, diagnostics, notifications, and other operational services.

These third-party providers may process information on our behalf only as needed to provide their services to us.
