Welcome to Directed App. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Directed App mobile application and related services (“App”), available on Android and iOS platforms and operated by Artisan Direct (“Artisan Direct,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
1. Use of the App
The Directed App is intended for use by authorized employees, contractors, administrators, and approved users who support Artisan Direct’s operations.
You may use the App only if you are at least 13 years old and are legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. If you are using the App on behalf of a business, organization, or contractor relationship, you represent that you are authorized to do so.
You agree to use the App only for lawful, authorized business purposes related to your role with Artisan Direct or its approved partners.
2. App Features and Permissions
Location Tracking
The Directed App uses location tracking to provide core functionality, including route management, task verification, installation validation, pickup validation, and operational reporting.
By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your device’s location data while using the App. You may disable location tracking through your device settings, but doing so may limit or prevent certain App features from working properly.
Push Notifications
The App may send push notifications related to tasks, routes, assignments, workflow updates, sign recovery, sign transfers, administrative alerts, and other operational activity. You can control push notification preferences in your device settings.
SMS/Text Message Notifications
The Directed App may send SMS/text messages to employees, contractors, administrators, and other authorized internal users for internal operational purposes. These messages may include task notifications, workflow updates, route updates, sign recovery notifications, sign transfer notifications, administrative alerts, and other internal business communications related to the Directed App and Artisan Direct operations.
SMS messages are intended for internal operational use only and are not sent to customers or the general public as part of this program.
Message frequency varies based on user role, assigned work activity, and system notifications. Message and data rates may apply.
By providing a mobile phone number during onboarding, account setup, employment, contractor registration, or internal system setup, users consent to receive SMS/text messages related to internal operational use of the Directed App.
Users may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. After replying STOP, the user may no longer receive SMS notifications related to internal task and workflow updates. Users may reply HELP for help or contact Artisan Direct at sales@artisandirect.us or +1 704-662-2417.
Mobile opt-in information and consent will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purpose
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation, security, or performance of the App
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, accounts, data, or networks
- Reverse-engineer, copy, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the App
- Submit false, misleading, or inaccurate information through the App
- Use another person’s account or allow unauthorized users to access your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You are also responsible for using the App accurately and honestly, including when recording task status, route activity, installation activity, pickup activity, transfer activity, inventory activity, or other operational information.
4. Intellectual Property
All content, features, functionality, designs, graphics, logos, software, code, workflows, processes, and other materials included in or made available through the Directed App are owned by Artisan Direct or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other applicable laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App solely for authorized business purposes related to your role with Artisan Direct or its approved partners.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, lease, modify, reverse-engineer, or otherwise exploit any part of the App without our prior written permission.
5. Data and Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
The App may collect information such as user account details, mobile phone numbers, location data, route activity, task activity, timestamps, device information, and other operational information necessary to provide and improve the App.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Accuracy of Information
The App is designed to support operational workflows, route management, task management, sign installation, sign pickup, sign transfers, and related business processes.
You agree to provide accurate information when using the App. This includes accurately marking tasks, routes, signs, inventory, transfers, and related activities as complete, incomplete, skipped, transferred, recovered, or otherwise updated.
Artisan Direct may review App activity, location records, timestamps, and other operational data to verify task completion and service performance.
7. Availability and Updates
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time, with or without notice.
We may also release updates, bug fixes, new features, or changes to existing features. Some updates may be required in order for you to continue using the App.
We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, misused the App, provided inaccurate information, engaged in harmful conduct, or are no longer authorized to use the App.
You may stop using the App at any time. Certain obligations in these Terms will continue after your access ends, including those related to intellectual property, data, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law.
9. Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Artisan Direct disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the App will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times.
The App is intended to support operational workflows, but users remain responsible for following all applicable laws, regulations, client requirements, safety requirements, and company policies.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Artisan Direct shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your access to or use of the App, your inability to use the App, or any errors, delays, interruptions, or inaccuracies in the App.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Artisan Direct’s total liability for any claim arising from or related to the App or these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid, if any, by you to Artisan Direct for use of the App during the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. User Conduct and Safety
You agree to use the App in a safe and responsible manner. You should not use the App while driving or in any situation where doing so could distract you or create a safety risk.
You are responsible for complying with all traffic laws, parking rules, property restrictions, safety requirements, and applicable regulations while performing tasks related to the App.
The App may provide route information, task information, or location information, but users are responsible for using reasonable judgment and following applicable laws and safety practices.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted in the App or on our website.
Your continued use of the App after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the App.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
